Last week I went to the Empty Bottle (shocking) to see The Vivian Girls (also shocking). We managed to get there early enough though to see the local openers Nones. I had never heard of them before, but recognized Sara Jean drumming so I knew they were a Chicago band. Even though they had my least favourite instrument, the fucking horrible saxophone, they totally ruled, and I cannot wait to see them again...maybe even play a show together?
